Progress with Mr Moosh 'Tuchi U, Tuchi Mi'
After neglecting Moosh for the past 4 months, I've had a power surge and am now editing the video.

Third Cortez vids à la domestically
On saturday 7th Jan 2012, Henry P and I tried to sneak back into the brewery building in sands end to do a mock fashionshoot for content to backup the Mr Moosh video. We hired lights, bought kit, rallied a bunch of people to play the on-screen entourage and had the whole day planned impecibly. Unfortunately, one thing that we hadn't accounted for was that someone might have locked the gate to get in... which they had. 3 hours and an empty bank account later (I put my card behind a pub bar to keep people on standby... silly mistake) it became clear that we weren't getting in.
So, we had kit, cameras and a little bit of time left and needed to shoot something. We thought it would be nice to set up a nice shot with Third Cortez at their place and record them doing a couple of their tracks acoustically.
Fortunately they were in and up for it so we shot two songs.
This one...
and then we had a little bit of time left, so filmed this one in one take...
and with the same take edited one down to this style:
These two are a little bit snazzy and are better as sketches of ideas which could be developed further. I think both of these have attributes that relate well to the song. The homely nostalgic familiarity of hi8 and home videos gives a warm loving feeling, and in the other vid, another angle of love: the mesmerising, detailed, complex attributes. Also look out for the love heart shape that pop up even now and again.

Smoke & Mirrors 48hr Film Competition: Our Entry
Really happy to have completed this this year, as opposed to last years attempt of doing an animation whilst working the whole weekend - yes, very unrealistic.
Extremely happy with how it turned out, especially with being able to edit it down from 25 mins to 5 mins.
Done with Henry Palmer & Taylan Mutaf, who were great to do it with and hopefully we'll be doing more stuff together over the next few weeks.
